The FairFrontiers project has carried out interdisciplinary research in forest-agriculture frontiers since 2022. To share our research findings, methods and approaches, FairFrontiers held a public exhibition at the Kyoto Human Rights Research Institute on January 12-19, 2026.
The exhibition featured interactive stories, photos, videos, maps and cultural pieces from field sites in Central Africa (Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo) and Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia). There was also a video section that shared the perspectives of project researchers and collaborators, their reflections on frontiers and their hopes and aspirations for the research. Research talks were held everyday during the week.

FairFrontiers (フェアフロンティアーズ) プロジェクトは2022年より森林と農業の境界地域（フロンティア）に関する学際的研究を実施してきました。このたび、京都にある世界人権問題研究センターにて、研究成果・方法論・アプローチについて展示を通してご紹介することと相成りました。
本展では、中央アフリカ（カメルーン、コンゴ民主共和国）と東南アジア（インドネシア、ラオス、マレーシア）の現地調査地から集めたインタラクティブな物語、写真、動画、地図、文化的な作品を紹介しています。さらに、展示の中ではプロジェクトメンバーの視点から見たフロンティア・研究への希望や今後の展望に焦点を当てていきました。
